Overview

The Arab Conference on Information, Communication, and Space Technology (ARAB ICST 2026), now in its eighth edition, stands as a leading Arab event held under the umbrella of the Federation of Arab Engineers, through its Information, Communication, and Space Technology Committee, which oversees the organization of the conference editions across Arab countries.
This year’s edition will be hosted in the Arab Republic of Egypt, where the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, in collaboration with the Military Technical College, will undertake the full organization and supervision of the conference.Egypt’s hosting of this prestigious Arab event reflects an Arab cooperative spirit that enhances engineering and scientific integration among Arab nations.
The conference aims to strengthen Arab collaboration in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Information and Communication Technology, and Space Engineering, by bringing together leaders, experts, researchers, and engineers on one platform to exchange knowledge, showcase cutting-edge innovations, and explore partnership opportunities toward a sustainable digital Arab future.

Scope

With the accelerating global shift towards digital transformation, the convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), and Space Engineering (S) is emerging as a key strategic driver for achieving sustainable development.
These disciplines are no longer standalone fields but interconnected systems reshaping how societies plan, innovate, and evolve.
The conference will explore how intelligent, data-driven technologies can enhance decision-making, improve resource management, and support the development of smart, sustainable, and resilient systems across various sectors, including urban infrastructure, digital communications, environmental monitoring, and space applications.
The integration of AI and ICT with satellite data and orbital technologies opens unprecedented opportunities to solve complex challenges, particularly in areas such as climate resilience, disaster management, smart cities, and national development planning.
The conference aims to strengthen strategic collaboration among researchers, innovators, and policymakers across the Arab world and beyond.

Goals

This conference is designed for scientists, AI and ICT professionals, space engineers S, and decision-makers seeking to enhance the adoption of emerging technologies to support sustainable development.
The conference offers:
• A strategic platform to address regional and global challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially Goal 9, which focuses on building resilient infrastructure, fostering innovation, and supporting inclusive and sustainable industrialization.
• A space for the exchange of ideas, research findings, and practical experiences among academics, professionals, industry leaders, and governmental stakeholders.
• In-depth discussions on future trends, policy directions, challenges, and technological innovations shaping the future of smart and sustainable systems in infrastructure, space applications, digital transformation, and national development.
